Twin City Outdoor is a second generation
dealership which opened in 1967. “I bought the business from my Dad in 2001” said owner, Jeff Smith, “and we moved to our current location in West Monroe in March of 2002 and started selling mowers at that time.” Twin City Outdoor began selling
Gravely lawn equipment eight years ago and recently opened a second location in Monroe to expand business.
For Twin City Outdoor, the best-selling Gravely lawn mower is the Pro-Turn series which provides homeowners and entry level commercial customers a better lawn mower for the money. They also do well with the Pro-Turn 100, 200 and 400 series models. Their best attachment is the mulch kit as about 50% of their mowers leave their dealership with a mulch kit for manicuring lawns and fall leaf clean up.
On top of quality product, the friendly staff and low pressure sales group at Twin City Outdoor helps make customers feel more comfortable. They also offer great customer service by installing mulch kits and providing free delivery and fill up. In the spring, Twin City Outdoor offers a maintenance service, available at a low price, which includes picking up lawn mowers for service and delivering them back to customers. Taking care of their customers with their service needs for so many years has increased their mower sales over the years.
“In our small town we don't have many fleet sales, but we do pretty good when given a chance with Gravely’s Fleet and GAP programs. I'm REALLY excited about Gravely’s propane mowers. We sold our first one we stocked and have two sold waiting on delivery. My goal next year is 30 propane mowers sold in 2014,” said Smith.
