Quality Power opened their dealership in 1948, and they added the Gravely line in the 1990's. The dealership was purchased by Keith Rucker in 2001, so they have carried the Gravely line since his involvement with the dealership.
The Pro-Stance is their most popular selling mower. The larger commercial customers have been using them and now the smaller commercial customers have followed their lead by purchasing them as well. Their most popular attachment is the mulch kit as mulching is extremely popular in Florida. According to Keith Rucker, "In our market, most of the properties are smaller. The mulch kits reduce the amount of clippings that get in flower beds, and mulch kits help reduce the amount of cleanup on driveways and sidewalks."
Quality Power's slogan is "Quality Sales and Service since 1948." "Everything we do in our organization provides those things to our customers. We feel our job is to educate the customer about the products so they can make the right purchase for their needs. We also need to be able to provide the guidance in helping them determine how to properly repair or maintain their equipment along with being able to meet those needs in a timely fashion" says Keith.
Their team is what makes them so successful. They have put together a group of individuals who genuinely care about their customers and their customers' needs. They have employees who were there before Keith purchased the business and employees that worked at Keith's previous business. They know that Quality Power has to put the customer first.
Quality Power's Tip of the Week - They try to get their commercial customers to analyze their repair costs on older equipment. Many times we see customers continue to throw money in older equipment which leads to downtime and unusually high repair costs instead of making a new purchase. They have been able to get some of their customers to make planned purchases resulting in a more pleasurable experience for both of them.
