After two attempts at buying a new mower, first one had water in oil and second was used with the hour meter disconnected, third time was a charm. Couldn't be happier. Haven't put many hours on it but it is super responsive and powerful. I did change the air filter to a canister type as I kick up a lot of dust and the canister double filter will protect the engine better.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 44 Zero Turn Mower:

Dealer talked me into going with the HD series and I'm Glad he did! If your're new to ZTs it's going to take a bit to get used to. They are FAST and NIMBLE! Chews through grass that my old Deere would struggle with.
Downside: We live in SE Michigan, Clay soil. With the factory tires traction is non-exsistant if the ground is even a little moist. Had to pull myself out about 5-6 times on the first mow of the season :-(
Gravely, How about offering some better tires for those of us who aren't mowing golf courses!?

went from a snapper z-rider to a zt hd 44 inch gravely. like going from a model a ford to a new Raptor. much smoother cut and a lot faster. probably will add a mulcher later. transmissions are super smooth and steering is very low effort. does not seem to spin the inside tire as much at the snapper did.

A great mower for the buck

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 44 Zero Turn Mower:

I brought this mower 3 years ago, only problem I ever had with it is the slinored switch. I needed a mower that would cut about an acre yard in less than my old mower. Boy, did I get a mower, I tell I got one and proud of it. I 'm thinking about up grading to the pro 148. Other than that it's a great mower. I do recommend this mower to any buyer that wants a good mower. I highly recommend Gravely to any one, thanks Gravely for a job well done!!!!! Excuse the spilling

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 44 Zero Turn Mower:

Cut my mowing time from over 4 hours on a big box store ride on mower to 70 minutes.
The only down side is as the single fuel tank is over the left rear wheel so there are significant traction differences when turning.

Great zero turn

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 44 Zero Turn Mower:

I use this mower to mow my 2 acres. It has performed extremely well so far. I don't really have any complaints. It can out run my neighbors bad boy zero turn by leaps and bounds. Only complaint I can think of is the wheels that protect the deck from getting to close to surfaces can sometimes snag on fencing. But that's my fault after all. Great mower, would recommend to anyone with a large yard who wants something that will not only last but mow quickly.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 44 Zero Turn Mower:

I've had my HD for a year and I am a big fan. We have cut our mowing time nearly in half, from our previous Cub Cadet 1440. I did a lot of research before buying, such as Engine, what drive line and even the weight of unit. Even after purchasing and found more quality in the construction. I'm glad that I spent a little more for the HD because I think I got a lot more!

I bought HD 48 last summer when I moved into a house that had a 2.25 acre lot. Although I only have 17 hours on the mower, it has performed as advertised, AWESOME. I debated on getting a Gravely or Exmark and after talking to some friends who had both, my decision was easy. I'm not putting down Exmark, but I went to the Exmark dealer and the Gravely dealer and asked alot of questions. Hands down I am very happy with my Gravely ZT HD 48.

The mower is really good on flat areas and does an excellent job on the grass. I do not like how it handles on wet grass or just thick grass. It tends to spin out of control. Especially if there is any sort of incline. It does cut my mowing time by about half. But I do have to use another mower to do around my pond. As I do not trust that the mower will not spin out of control and into the pond. Which still does not distract from how well it cuts the grass.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 48 Zero Turn Mower:

I bought my Gravely ZT HD 48 with the Kawasaki engine at Empire Seed Company in Temple Texas. Kayea there was really helpfull and made the whole process really easy, I called to make sure that they had the one I wanted and they did but they had to uncrate it and get it ready, they had it ready by the time I got there. I had already sent her all the paperwork she needed so with tech assisted familiarization, test drive and paperwork, I was in and out in about 45 minutes.
I went from a John Deere LA115 tractor with a 42in deck to the 48in ZT HD. We have had an extreme amount of rain here in Texas so that means our grass has grown at insane rates. On my yard it cut my mowing time at least by half and my yard is not the levelest but with the frame being so much stiffer compared to my old mower I have alot less scalping just because the frame is not flexxing. We also have a family friend who is not capable of mowing her 1.2 acre yard and with all the rain some parts of her lawn were over 3 feet tall which it cut through very easy of course with it being that tall I had to go over it twice which was no big deal, alot of times even with a big brush hog you have to go over it twice when the grass is that tall.
I just did my first oil change at 8hrs as recomended, with the oil and filter that the dealer provided. Yes this mower is more than I wanted to spend but I test drove a few regular residential zero turns before this one and none came close to the quality of the Gravely ZT HD. I went with the HD because we do occasionally help friends with thier lawns because of heath reasons and because it has a commercial grade deck instead of a stamped deck like other manufaturers.
So far it rates up there with the best purchases ever, even at the price that they ask for this mower in my opion it is well worth it if you have any size to your yard.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 48 Zero Turn Mower:

I purchased my Gravely ZT HD 48" cut in October 2012. I wanted to try it first before writing a review. The mower is well built and durable. I cut approximately 4 acres each week. (My 1.5 and my mothers 2.5) I have pruchased john deere and cub cadet mowers in the past. The Gravely beats them all. Extremely satisfied.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 48 Zero Turn Mower:

I only have 150 hours on my Gravely ZT HD48 but it is performing just like it was brand new. I have been using it not only to mow but to pull a landscape cart to haul loads around my place. It is a pleasure each time I climb on and cut my place. The cut makes the entire place look like a golf course. I think with normal maintenance that it will last for a long time.

Best mower I have ever owned.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 48 Zero Turn Mower:

This mower replaces a 36 inch zero-turn brand that I owned for almost 10 years. I am impressed with the quality and functionality of the ZT 48 HD. My wife, who is the primary operator, describes it as the Lexus of mowers. Looking forward to many years of service. A huge deciding factor in our purchase is our dealer, Neil's Small Engine in Thibodaux. LA. I have so much confidence in their level of customer service and satisfaction. Service means everything to me when I am making any large purchase. I have recommended Gravely to several of my friends considering mower purchases.

Gravely is superior to competitive machines in its price...

By

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 48 Zero Turn Mower:

Probably the most rugged machine on the market in its price class. I tested several other "top of the line" machines selling at about the same price and none could compare to the construction, features, durability and ease of operation of the ZTHD. I never had a zero-turn mower before, but it took me less than 20 minutes to master the controls and I'm 68 years old.

Prior to purchase, I was using a Troy Built 20+ horsepower garden tractor and it took 1 1/2 hours to mow an acre. The ZTHD does it with ease in about 40 minutes and saves about another 45 minutes trimming time due to its tight turns around trees, flower beds, shrubs, etc. It provides a smoother cut to the lawn, even when cutting grass that is 5" to 6" tall. The other mower would require two passes if the grass was 4" or taller. I've never heard the engine "bog down" on the ZTHD even when cutting 6" tall grass at high speed.

The selling/servicing dealer where I bought the machine is also top of the line when it comes to knowledge about my machine.

The only recommendation I would have for Gravely would be to make the oil filter a bit easier to get at for maintenance.

This is a time saver mower

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 48 Zero Turn Mower:

Wow what a difference my new gravely has made for me. I have never owned a mower of this caliber. I am the type of person that is self reliant, I fix everything,my cars,I built my house, if it breaks I fix it. BUT when my 8 year old cub cadet zero turn laid down on me, I could not fix it. It was beyond repair so I started looking on line for options. Now this is not my first time around the block with quality mowers, I have helped my brother in law for many years who has been in the lawn care business for 20 years. And let me tell you, i would not trade my gravely for 2 of his diesel kubotas for nothing. This mower has it all, the first thing that i noticed was its smooth cut. I love a perfect manicured yard, and what I thought was perfect was not, until I got my gravely. Now lets talk about power, WOW you can't get a cut like that out of a weak motor. This thing is a monster on high grass. It was late spring very close to the beginning of summer and still had not mowed for the first time this season. So I don't have to tell you how high it was and this gravely went through this high grass like it was nothing. This gravely is easy on the eyes too. Most people don't look at the design of a mower, thay just want it to perform. This thing looks great, I would be proud to mow with this mower in the wealthiest community I know. Thanks Gravely

Cut my mowing time in half!!

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 48 Zero Turn Mower:

I LOVE this mower!! It has cut my mowing time in half.
It used to take almost 5 hours to mow our yard and it is now done in 2, so I now have time to mow the yard after work.
It is easy to use and the yard looks beautiful. I actually like to move now.
We choose to buy because the had 0% interest for 5 years and if I remember correctly that is how long the warranty was. SO we thought why not.
I didn't give 5 stars ONLY because we have only had the machine for 8 months and time will tell about it's Durability.

One great machine

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

I got this almost 2 years ago and I have no idea why I didn't do this a lot sooner! I have the ZT HD 52 and I absolutely love it. My yard is a little over an acre and I have 4 to 5 other yards I take care of too. This thing cuts fast, even and never slows down. It's the first zero turn I've ever owned and if I ever get another one it'll definitely be another Gravely. I can't say enough good about it. I used to think I liked mowing my yard but now I LOVE mowing all the yards I can find. If you want a really good mower this one won't disappoint you.

Best value on the market !!!

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

I just mowed my yard for the first time this season. Fired up my Gravely ZT HD 52, hour meter now sits on 19.5 hrs. Decided on this model midway through last summer after some pretty thorough research of at least 6 different brands and multiple models. The only experience I had using a zero turn was on my father's Gravely Pro Turn 260, so although I maintain significantly less acreage, my standards were admittedly high as I began my search. From the Kawasaki engine and hefty transaxles to the fabricated deck, cast iron spindles, and beefy frame, the ZT HD series was much more machine than I was shopping for initially. But, after weighing the cost versus the expected performance and service life, this machine is proved to be the best value on the market for the serious homeowner that wants to INVEST in a piece of equipment rather than just buy a lawn mower. If you have used or test driven the run-of-the-mill consumer zero turn, you better hang on! This mower compares with most entry level commercial mowers I have seen but at a significantly lower cost. I currently maintain about 2.5 acres of rural property (not manicured turf) and share the lawn care duties at our church. The other guy that cares for the church property also has a Gravely- I believe it is a standard ZT series- and for his needs is equally impressed with its quality and performance. I truly believe this is the best value on the market and the wisest equipment purchase I have ever made. Thank you Gravely!

Needs a few small tweaks

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

I just bought to 52" ZT-HD. I've used it three times to cut my 2 acre lawn. It's got plentyt of power, does a fast and wonderful job mowing, and is clearly a solidly built machine. But I do have a couple of minor nit-picks, considering the 5k+ price tag; On an uneven lawn, which mine is, the ride can be quite rough. I'd like to see a little better seat suspension to soften the blow. Speaking of the seat, the armrest needs to be a little more robust, it feels like it might bend or break someday under my copious weight. Next, the exhaust is a little louder than I expected. I think it would be nice if they put some sort of baffle or shield that directed the noise more rearward and down. But my biggest complaint so far, and it's not a really big one, is the difficulty involved in changing the oil. The instructions say to do it hot, so the oil flows, I suppose. But there isn't a lot of room to unscrew/screw the filter and a hot engine hurts when you touch it. Just an observation. I also think a redesign of the oil drain tube is in order. If the cap is on tight, it's a bear to unscrew it from a flexible hose, which isn't really long enough to begin with.
But look, I just wanted to give a thorough review here, not be picky about it. I love the machine and would recommend it to anyone so far.

Should have gotten the 60 inch deck

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

I bought my ZTHD 52 September of 2013 and didn't write a review until I could see how the mower performed. Before I purchased the mower I shopped around and the Gravely mower just always looked like the better machine. After using this mower for almost 2 years I could not be happier. The two acres I mow has a lot of trees and flower beds and I have been able to reduce my mowing time by a third. There is plenty of power even when I mow grass that has not been mowed in a while. My neighbor liked it so much he got rid of his troy bilt zero turn and bought a gravely. Only problem I have is that I wish I would have gotten the 60 inch deck.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

Been mowing with a Dixon Ram 44 for a couple years now, made the switch to a Gravely ZT HD 52 and couldn't be happier!!!! I mow 4 acres and with the Dixon I would spend 2-3 nights a week and sometimes Saturday to accomplish this task. I mowed the whole place in an hour and a half yesterday with the Gravely! Now I have more time to spend with the family and I have my Saturdays back! Only thing I could say that I was a little disappointed with is the "optional equipment" that's not included, the suspension seat and the lights are things that are probably better suited to the standard equipment category. Overall it's a great product at a great price point!

Great Machine

By

from Hanover, VA

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

I bought the ZT HD 52 this past year and my wife is getting tired of me talking about it. The machine runs great and has great control.

Formerly I hated mowing the yard but with this machine I enjoy it. It greatly reduces the amount of trimming that has to be performed due to the tight turning ability. The Kawasaki engine does great and even cuts up limbs after storms without bogging down. This machine is made for flat land, which luckily I have.

The only issue I have with my yard is my yard retains a lot of water, which makes it difficult not to tear up the yard given the weight of the mower. So I wait until the yard is dry. Also it slides down into my ditch along the road when it is extremely wet.

The other issue I had was uneven mowing, but after investigating I had a chain link that holds the deck turned sideways, after putting it back the right way it took care of the issue, operator error.

So for flat land I highly recommend this mower, but not for hills or really wet areas.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

If your reading reviews to convince yourself to buy a ZT/HD or any other fine Gravely Product , my answer is "Do it" you won't be disappointed. Like you I checked out the review's cause I had a 50" Garden Tractor and it was taking forever to cut a little over 2 acres.
I bought the ZT/HD 52 and Wow, What a Difference!!! In time and fun!!! I actually loved cutting my lawn; in fact I don't have enough lawn to cut.The response with the levers is just fantastic , I can't say enough about it.
If your thinkin about a zero turn vs lawn tractor ...nothing compares to the Gravely ZT on a moderate budget for you the Homeowner, don't have to be a landscaper to own one of these . You'll Love it!!!

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 52 Zero Turn Mower:

I went to our local dealership that carried many brands of zero turns with the thought of purchasing a John Deere. I own many John Deere tractors so I wanted the same brand as what we have on the farm. After talking to a salesman he wanted me to look at a Gravely. I hesitated but thought why not. I was able to take a demo model home for a day and mow my lawn. I went back with the mower and told the salesman to get paperwork started and I wanted one. I bought the ZTHD with a 52" deck. I have had it now for 3 weeks and do not regret purchasing it at all. The price was excellent!!! It has the Kawasaki engine which was quite a price upgrade when comparing it to the John Deere, and the deck is fabricated, not stamped like the John Deere residential models are. Heavier transmissions then the Deere too. I also bought the power bagger and hitch with the unit. The bagger works great. Very happy with my decision.

First off I want everyone to know that I have done my research. My wife asked me if I was going to submit my data to Consumer Reports... I wanted this mower to be the last one I purchased. I have looked at SCAG, Hustler, Cub Cadet, Husky, Exmark, Simplicity, John Deere, Dixie Chopper, Toro and the list goes on...

As I searched for the best manufactured machine for the best money I learned and I learned... All the manufactures will use components from the same or similar manufactures such as engines, the trans axles are primarily manufactured by Hydro-Gear etc... Understand that the best for the money will never be the cheapest. I also looked at the companies behind the mowers and continued to learn...

Overall I looked at many machines... I demoed many machines... In the running with my criteria I ended up with the following brands... Order not relating to preference.

Dixie
Gravely
SCAG
Hustler

Without getting into the process of evaluation this is what I found to be the deciding feature requirements...

Kawasaki Power
24HP will be plenty for a 48" machine
Trans Axle minimum: Hydrogear ZT-3100
Mower Deck: Minimum of a 10 Gauge fabbed deck great mowing capacity not overkill for a homeowner.
Must be able to push snow if desired.
Warranty: Minimum of 3 yr.
Dealership... What if I had to deal with the what if...

The SCAG Dealer was the closet in the overall, but I feel it was over priced for the same HG ZT-3100 and also power by a BS engine... Thats Briggs and Stratton! BS not intended but by far the last on my list... They also offer the Kawasaki 600cc engine... $1100 more for the 48" unit with this is engine that is 126cc smaller and the HP is unpublished. The deck was a little thicker, but I felt overkill for a homeowner which has no additional warranty such as the Gravely

Dixie Chopper was a great machine, but I couldn't justify the cost for what I was getting. The Briggs Pro engine (again not my favorite) and the HG ZT-3100 transmission same as the Gravely... Better Warranty, but much higher in cost... Same dealer as the Gravely

The Hustler dealership seamed untrained on product and just wanted to jam a mower out the door. I felt that there was an urgency as if he needed to sell a unit just to stay in business. I like the product but again higher in cost for the same or similar product. Warranty was a year better, but I was very concerned with the dealers existence in that extra year...

Gravely 48" ZT HD had all the features in a single package that I was looking for and I felt that it came at a fair price. And after all the facts and information was entered it came down to the dealer, salesman, and their shop. I felt that the Gravely dealer was had it together the best of all. I felt confident in with the whole package.

I will also add that I have been in sales for 25 years and now manage several states. I told all the dealers that I enjoyed looking at my lawn not mowing it... My lawn wasn't that big... I didn't need a ZTR I wanted a ZTR, I wanted to be done as quick as possible... With the proper manual I could rebuild any engine that I wanted to, but I didn't want to wrench on a mower... I want a high quality mower that would last...

None of the dealers that I had visited had any idea that they we undergoing an evaluation by an experienced salesperson... I was just a home owner that wanted a great product for a fair price. Most noticed that I had done my homework and was knowledgeable about what I was looking for. There was only one dealer seamed like they cared and wanted to build a relationship. It was 100 degrees and not a lot of grass was growing. They were only one dealer offer me a pepsi while I was talking to them... Who knew that $. 50 that pepsi would sell a mower! That being said I bought a relationship and they through in a Gravely mower... I want to add that I never met Ryan or knew the family before, but I imagine that Ryan's great grandfather would be proud to know that his great grandsons is doing business as he did when they started, With a handshake and trust! I don't know many that can say that. I made the purchase of the Gravely 48"ZT HD at Schaefer's Indiana Turf.

Planning to purchase a 2nd ZT HD 60 this Spring

By

from Fayetteville, NC

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

I researched various brands and compared features, prices and comments from professionals in the business and decided to purchase a Gravely 3-years ago from Hope Mills Saw and Mowers. I was mowing with a Ford 3000 tractor and 72" estate mower prior to purchasing the Gravely and prior to that numerous lawn/garden tractors. I mow around 12 acres of grass between my home, my parents home and our rental homes. I've cut grass beside the full size Ford tractor and estate mower and we're running at about the same ground speed, however, I leave him behind after just one zero turn and can finish my mowing sooner with the Gravely than with the tractor. What use to take all day Saturday to cut with 3 lawn/garden tractors (2-MTD's with 48" decks, 1-Craftsman with 46" deck), I can finish in about 3.5 to 4 hours or less. I can cut more grass on less fuel than either the Ford tractor or the 3 lawn tractors. I also bought a new trimmer when I purchased this mower, however, due to the cutting path of the Gravely, I've reduced a great deal of trimming. I've had no problems with the mower since I purchased it and I change the fluids as listed in the manual and by the build in reminder on the hour meter. The Spring of 2016 purchase will be another ZT HD 60" with the upgraded seat base, the grass catcher system for mainly leaf collection in the fall and the hitch, (had to ride the lawn tractor to pull the aerator this fall, it was like watching paint dry).

Very happy with my 60" ZT HD........Except one thing

By

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

I purchased my new ZT HD 60" 3 weeks ago and it mows great. There is one thing you must consider when purchasing this mower: If you have hills, be wary....it slides all over the place. You will have to go very slowly downhill....it will start sliding and will not turn. If there's something in your way, such as a fence, rock wall, etc. this could be an issue. Going uphill isn't an issue at all....it's the downhill that's a problem. So far, I haven't been able to locate different tires that would grip better. This happens in dry grass and especially damp. The hill grade is fairly tame, so it's kinda disappointing. To get around this issue, I just use my old John Deere L110 for the side of the house where the hills are....no biggie. Other than that, it's a fantastic mower....you'll love it on the flats

Awesome Mower

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

I feel compelled to write a review for this mower after spending a few hours online reading reviews of this before I made my purchase. I bought the ZT 60 HD. I am coming off of a Cub Cadet z-Force 50. I must say the drives on the Gravely are so smooth and powerful. I want to address the elephant in the room with the reviews that state this thing is bad on hills or slopes. I have a few steep long grades as my house sits up on a hill and the ZT HD handled the hills so effortlessly that I was jumping up and down in my seat. My old mower would dart down the hill and not be able to stop. Now it is the nature of any zero turn to handle this way but the Gravely handled better than expected. I did have a major problem in my ditch. The exhaust cage is too far out and when I went to go up the ditch it got jammed in the grass and the drive wheels were both suspended in the air. Aside from the minor learning curve. This mower is fantastic!

I've used Snapper, Toro and John Deere equipment for years. I came across this by doing research on the internet when my old lawn tractor died. Based on the build quality, design and features, I chose the ZT HD 60. It mows my lawn much faster than the old machine and lacks nothing. It is way more maneuverable and nimble. It seems to be built very well and is solid and should last for many years. I actually look forward to mowing with it!

ZT XL vs ZT HD

By

from Ohio

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

Gravely ZT HD vs ZT XL
Here is a quick comparison between the two I have owned both HD and XL. Like a dummy I settled for the ZT XL thinking I could live with the fact that my knees rubbed the steering bars. I'll just tilt my knees a little… WRONG. After about one season of that and an average, at best, cut quality I sat on a ZT HD and it was over.
I had to have it for all of these reasons. MUCH better leg room for a 6'4" frame, larger deck (60"), Bigger tires, better seat, much better ride, bigger fuel tank, much better cut probably due to the 5.5" deck. The XL isn't very deep but I did not measure it (looks like 3.5"). With the ZT HD I am now back to a commercial quality cutting machine. I am spoiled a bit with having owned a Hustler Mini Z and a Grasshopper 722D. This HD cuts as nice as the hopper and better than the Z. I just mowed my about 3 acres in about an hour and a half and that is with playing around and taking it easy. I think I could do it in an hour if rain were coming : )
Folks for 1,000 dollar difference go with the ZT HD all day long. Unless: Budget is REALLY tight, cut quality not a big deal, space is an issue, your yard is really smooth.
The ZT XL was a fine machine, no issues and if you are going up from a lawn tractor you will love it. If you are going from a commercial Z you better get the HD because you will not be happy with the XL…. IMHO

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

Bought the ZTHD 60" in late July, 2013. I've now got 48 hours on this mower with zero issues. Ive changed the oil and sharpened the blades twice. I installed a DIY rear hitch and haul around a 15 yard lawn cart. I've had that cart 3/4 full of #8 gravel multiple times with no problems from the machine or the Kawasaki engine. It will definitly pull some weight with no issues. I researched for months prior to purchasing this ZTHD, and after almost one year with this machine I have NO regrets. Highly recommend............

I told her I needed a bigger mower

By

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

I bought my first Gravely in 06, a ZT. My only 'complaint' to my wife was that I needed a bigger one, to which I got the eye-roll. When it was finally time to upgrade last year, I was surprised to see Gravely had split the ZT line. Wasn't sure about upgrading to the HD, but 0% financing made it a no brainer and I'm certainly glad I did.

Not having gate limit issues I selected the 60" (my original was 42") Had to wait a day or two to pickup and my wife reminded me of all of the extra weedeating I would have to do, not able to get that large deck everywhere I could with the 42". I need not have worried. Because the deck extends past the chassis, I can reach places I couldn't with the 42". The deck is curved on the left rear corner, and you won't realize how genius this is until you mow with it and realize you can put the blades just about anywhere.

Mower has good speed and feels like a commercial mower at a high-end residential price. I elected to get a mulching kit, and wasn't sure about it at first, but like it now. You just have to commit to always keeping the yard at a reasonable height. If you are a procrastinator, skip the mulch as you'll have to mow twice. If you're a regular mower, the mulch kit is a nice touch.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

Recenntly purchased a used ZT 60HD after have my Ferris 60" for years, the gravely has no traction what so ever. If you get on any grade of a hill you might as well forget it, your going down the hill. The mower had 13 hrs on it when I bought it and cuts and runs great.

Comments about Gravely ZT HD 60 Zero Turn Mower:

I Have only had mower for a short time but has made mowing not a chore anymore, went from a 60" lawn tractor to a 60" ZTHD and cut my time in more than half to cut my 3 acre lot. Well worth the $$ still asking why I waited so long to buy one. One more think I had other mowing and this uses less fuel then any of the other per HOUR it is great
