We are the Brandt Family. David and I (Lauren) have been married 10 years and have three children. Bryleigh is the oldest at 7, Emmy is 5, and Brixton is 2. We love spending time outdoors, bike riding, and enjoying a simple life with our pets consisting of a puppy, 2 cats and our 3 chickens!
We started our business on a leap of faith, almost a year ago now. My husband, David, strongly felt compelled to leave his full-time job of six years in the auto industry to start our own business. We saw a need for a friendly, reliable, hardworking, lawn care company in our town of New Braunfels, Texas, that truly puts its customers first.
That's how Lemonade Lawn Care came to be. We chose the name Lemonade Lawn Care because we wanted to be a completely different lawn care business than any of the others in the area. We are 100% focused on customer service and wanted to be a refreshing alternative in the lawn care industry. We started without having a single piece of equipment or a single customer and have since grown to serve many families in our community.
About a month into starting our business, we knew that our push mower was not going to cut it and we desperately needed to upgrade our equipment. Our first commercial mower was a pre-owned Gravely Pro-Walk, and we fell in love with the Gravely brand from there! We have since purchased a Gravely ZT-HD and a 36-inch Pro-Stance. These are our everyday mowers and we cannot imagine being without them. In just a short time, we have grown to mowing more than 200 lawns per month. In addition to residential lawn maintenance, we also offer bush and hedge trimming as well as tree trimming and full-service Christmas lighting.
We are striving to teach our children that customer service, hard work, reliability, and communication still matter and are valued. David is the owner/operator of our business and has one part-time employee. I help with all of the accounting, bookkeeping and scheduling. Our children are learning how to run a business and get their hands dirty they care for and wash our mowers!
We are excited to continue upgrading and growing our Gravely collection alongside our business!
