Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 48 Zero Turn Mower:
I just purchased a Pro Turn Gravely. I've only mowed one time with it thus far but the difference between the Gravely and the piece of junk Cub Cadet RZT I had is astounding. After having the Cub fail numerous times in the short time I've owned it, I was much more cautious this time around purchasing a mower. The engineering quality is only surpassed by the quality of workmanship that goes into building these mowers. I studied and looked at the one I purchased for over an hour trying to find a flaw in assembly, paint, anything, and could find nothing. Two close friends purchased Gravely HD's last year and they have nothing but praise for them. Both of these individuals are extremely particular and hard to please when it comes to their outdoor equipment, how it works, and how well it performs. I'm looking forward to reporting how well the Pro Turn performs in the future! It mowed even, clean, and extremely fast, far superior to the Cub model I had before.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

With my last tractor mower it took me nearly all day long to mow my 3 acres, now with the gravely it is done effortlessly in less than three hours. Kudos to gravely and their mowers.

Very good performance
from Pasadena, Md
I have been a scag and exmark owner. I wish that I had knew about Gravely in the past. What a great mower, much better ride and cut than the others. I am very pleased with the performance and so are my employees. This is the only machine they want to cut with.

My Gravely allows me an exceptional level of property...
from Woodland, GA
My Gravely has cut my work time by 75% and allowed me to expand the area of my property that I can manage by mowing instead of weeding on foot. It rides beautifully, handles smoothly, and reacts from eyes to hands as if they were one. (If I can only get rid of the "squeak" that my dealer, who owns and operates a similar machine, says isn't a problem.) I wish I could have purchased this machine sooner.

Made the right choice!
Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 52 Zero Turn Mower:
After much time, consideration and comparison to other mowers, I recently purchased the Pro Turn 52 and I couldn't be more satisfied. From the first trip by until the purchase the dealer couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. I had narrowed my choices down to the PT 52 and two other major competitors' mowers, which was almost equal in every aspect but price. I explained to the dealer that I would really like to compare the mowers side by side in my own yard and conditions. They were so confident in the PT 52, the next thing I knew I was on the way home with a "new" demo and trailer which also belonged to the dealer. They wanted me to put the PT 52 up against any other mower I wanted to and make the decision myself based on the performance of the Pro Turn. I cut with three mowers in the same conditions that day and the Gravely held it's own with no problems.Their confidence in the Gravely, as well as the performance and price of the PT, sold them a mower just a couple of hours later. Gravely mowers will hold their own with any of the other mowers out there and for the price they can't be touched. No regrets here!
Great mower excellent value.

I just bought a pro turn 52 as an upgrade from my old lawn tractor. I must say WOW what a difference. I cut my mowing time down by two thirds. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I just bought it and want to put some use, I will update review at 100 hours. I thoroughly researched other mowers before settling on the gravely pro turn, this mower offers the best bang for the buck. Originally I was torn between the ZT HD and the pro-turn and went to the dealership intending to buy the ZT HD....This was before I saw them side by side. The pro turn has a larger frame and seems more solid. The seat is extremely comfortable and you dont feel crowded, I'm 6'2 . The mower is smooth and powerful and leaves a nice cut. Gravely even sent me a cool hat! This mower is the best value out there for the money.

Superb Build Quality
from Harpers Ferry, WV
A retired neighbor and myself had both been mowing our 1 acre lots for many years with lightly built conventional 42" Murray and 36" MTD riding lawn mowers respectively. Both mowers were cheap and for years got the job done, but being lightly built, almost frail really, both succumbed to age and started giving us both more problems over the years requiring increasingly more frequent repairs. He and I got tired of this and discussed upgrading, and upgrading significantly. My father had purchased a top model 60" Kawasaki-powered Gravely for his 3 acre lot a few years ago and LOVES IT! In fact Mom enjoys mowing with it so much Dad rarely gets a chance to drive it, but they both spoke highly of it and had me test drive it. I was amazed by the beefiness of all the components compared to the thin gauge stamped steel parts on my old MTD mower. So my neighbor and I checked online reviews and prices and each of us were close to purchasing the top residential 52" zero turn model. We went to a local dealer who let us test drive an entry level commercial Pro Turn unit. They worked with us on price and we both ended up buying 52" Kawasaki-powered (commercial) Pro Turn units and had them delivered a few days later. The Gravely rep was knowledgeable, friendly, showed us all the operations during our test drive sessions, and not one moment did we feel hurried or pressured. I have to say the quality of build with thick gauge steel everywhere, stout, meaty components (nothing flimsy or under built ANYWHERE!), and the Gravely name were nearly enough for us to purchase the units but the sales rep. at D. W. OGG Equipment in Frederick, MD. sealed the deal. My neighbor and I couldn't be more happy with our Pro Turns. Yeah, it's a bit overkill for our 1 acre lots but we've both cut our mowing times in half and more importantly these are going to provide us both with many years of trouble-free service. No more welding stress cracks on flimsy stamped steel parts or REPEATEDLY replacing under built parts. Thank you Gravely for making a rock solid product and for your knowledgeable, helpful, no-pressure, no bs, sales reps. My neighbor and I enjoy keeping our places looking nice. Our Gravely's are the right tool for the job, and their power and speed is more than up to the task. Our lots are across the street from each other and are two houses from the entrance to our neighborhood so everyone that comes and goes sees one or both of our bright orange Gravely's at work frequently during the mowing season. Zero regrets from either of us! I just bought a set of headlights for mine for late evening mowing. And during the installation I found a connector on the existing harness ready and waiting which helped make the installation easy. I plugged in the lights harness, routed the wires, and with a couple bolts and a few zip ties later I had headlights at the flip of a toggle switch. The toggle switch was ALSO thought out. All I had to do was cut the plastic on the existing control panel and install the toggle switch. Just more evidence that someone thought this out. We're both impressed and very happy with our Gravelys! Nice job guys!

Great machine. Cuts well, great on gas and comfortable. Only two draw backs are the chute grass deflector mounts on top of the deck. The nut vibrates loose and I have lost the nut so I can't mount the chute. Also it should have a 2nd gas tank like the old 152z. Great machine, great product and very reliable. I would recommend to anybody.

Great unit, controls are easy to use, comfortable unit. Quality of cut is great in Bahia grass. Would recommend this unit to others.

Gravely's quality is still as good as its reputation was...

I mow my own property plus several acres at our church. I needed something which covered a lot of ground and was well-built and reliable.I shopped around but the Gravely Pro-Turn quality was obvious. Heavily built with easy and minimal maintenance. Oh yes; and it is FUN to operate. I've had no regrets in the two years I've owned by Gravely.
Love my Gravely
from Pella, IA
I mow lawns as a side business (up to 8 lawns per week) and have been doing so for several years. I started with a ZT2044, but this year wanted to move up to a larger commecial grade mower. I've got 70 hours on my 52" Pro-Turn now and I love it. I researched other brands and but decided to stick with Gravely based on value and price. Very happy I made the purchase. With nearly a full season under my belt and I've had zero problems with the Pro-Turn. I frequently recommend Gravely to others when they ask me about it.Features I appreciate the most are a comfortable seat, hieght adjustments in 1/4" increments, access panel in the floor to the deck, and the increased speed over my earlier residential model.
Turns on a dime
Everything seems well designed. My first zero turn, and up I'm done in half the time. Good, clean cut.
Perfect Large Application Mower
from Catskill Mountains, NY
Perfect for large usage. Hydraulics are very dependable, oil usage is minimal, fuel economy is good, comfortable ride for long days. It is not an ATV, nor a pick-up truck. It makes long grass short. Period. Use it for what it is designed to do and you will be very happy. Mower deck is strong, as are the blades... they can handle the occasional rock/stump without damage. It is not designed to be a brush hog, but I have used it for light weight brush up to three feet tall without any problem (went slow with mower deck on 5".) Oil change is well designed with the extension drain hose. Good build throughout.

This is my first Gravely, and my first zero turn. Bought a Pro-Turn 60 at the local dealer. First time out, dropped my mow time in half with my new mower. Was able to mow a lot of grass area I could never mow with my old JD Mower! This unit is built tough, and actually makes mowing fun!

Great features! Well thought out!
from LaCrosse, Wi
This was my first commercial ride on mower purchase. Out of exmark, John Deere, Toro and gravely. The gravely stood out to me as the most thought out and best design. I love pretty much everything about it. My only complaint, which really isn't a complaint is the seat could use one more notch forward (I have short legs). I can reach the deck raise fine, but one more notch would be perfect. Aside from that everything is working beautifully and I plan on having this mower or a gravely mower or two in my lineup for a long time. Extra selling point is they are made a few hours away on the other side of the state in Wi!
from Amery, WI
Love the way it handles, the way it works, and the way it cut the time I spend on the mower.... However, now I mow two extra lawns, due to the amount of fun I have when I mow!!A Gravely Customer for life!!
Speed and Agility
from Mountain, Ontario
The power and speed of my Pro a Turn 60 along with the zero turn characteristics allow me to cut my mowing time by at least 50%. My Husqvarna tractor style mower lacked all the positive points my Gravely brings to the table .I do find that the oil filter is located in a less than user friendly position but feel the rest of the machine is well thought out.

Good sturdy machine
from Windsor, VA
I have used it for about a year to maintain 5-6 acres of grass. Building a house on the property so sometimes the grass (hay) goes several weeks between mowing. The machine handles it fine even when the grass is damp. The best thing I like about this mower is that my wife likes to use it.
All the mower I need.
from Kansas City, Mo.
The Pro Turn 60 is all I expected in a mower. Fast, ample power, and smooth cutting.
Very durable, easy to use
Used my pro-turn for 2 cutting seasons now , had a problem with the Kawasaki engine but was promptly taken care of by dealer. other than that I have had no other issues or complaints with this mower, its not as heavy and bulky as other mowers like the John Deere mowers which makes maneuvering much easier. i use this mower as a home owner that cuts several acres and it has cut my mowing time in half. i would definitely purchase another Gravely mower. MADE IN USA.
Impressive equipment, excellent cut
from Monroe, LA
I'm very impressed with the durability, performance and ease of operation of my Gravely. In addition, it consistently provides a beautiful cut and does so at a very high rate of speed.
