Then & Now: Product Feedback
In recent years, social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have increasingly been used as tools for advertising and marketing. Along with that increase, customers have been using social media as a channel for product feedback.
On our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, customers post their thoughts about our products, giving both compliments and suggestions for improvement. Some customers post photos, showing off their machines.
Despite the popularity of sharing product feedback on social media, customers were sharing their opinions long before those channels were available. As far back as 1924, Gravely customers were sharing their thoughts of Gravely products. Below is an article John B. Muth, founder of Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio, wrote to the Gravely Motor Plow and Cultivator Company.
Although the medium has changed over the last 90 years, product feedback remains an important element of the Gravely brand.
