New Gravely® Pro-Stance® Ultra rolls into dealerships across North America
The widely anticipated Gravely® Pro-Stance® Ultra is now making its way down the assembly lines of AriensCo’s Fayetteville, Tennessee, production facility and will soon be employed by hundreds of professionals from coast to coast. First introduced at the October 2024 Equip Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, the Pro-Stance Ultra is already creating a buzz with the few already cutting with it.

Fernando Zepeda Jr. of Junior’s Gardens Landscape LLC in Camano Island, Washington, recently demoed the Pro-Stance Ultra with help from his local Gravely dealer. He was so impressed by its performance that he placed an order for the new mower on the spot.
“It was a combination of things that led to my purchase, but mainly the power it had going up these hills because a lot of my accounts are very hilly,” said Zepeda. “It comes down to feeling safe in it and the responsiveness of the transaxles. Being able to come up a hillside without losing momentum over little dips – this mower felt like it was hugging the hillside and it had the proper weight to glue itself to the terrain.”

Launching the Pro-Stance Ultra is Gravely’s response to a rapidly expanding demand for commercial stand-on mowers. Compared to ride-on mowers, stand-ons allow operators to absorb shocks more naturally, and entry on and exit off the equipment is faster.

Guided by customer voices, the Pro-Stance Ultra brings 35- and 38.5-horsepower Kawasaki FX1000 and FX1000 EFI engines and Parker HTG transaxles into the lineup. That power arrangement gives the machine a top speed of 12.5 mph and is one of the reasons Zepeda is such a big fan of the new mower.
“The efficiency is key. Getting in the properties quicker – even just 10% quicker is a win for me,” said Zepeda.
If overall performance wasn’t enough to convince Zepeda to add the Ultra to his fleet, the pairing of strong support from his independently owned and operated Gravely dealer factored heavily in his decision.
