This is my first Gravely, and my first zero turn. Bought a Pro-Turn 60 at the local dealer. First time out, dropped my mow time in half with my new mower. Was able to mow a lot of grass area I could never mow with my old JD Mower! This unit is built tough, and actually makes mowing fun!

Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 60 Zero Turn Mower:

Just got new (0.2 hours) 2018 model with Kawi engine. I am 74 with serious health problems. I have been looking at this mower for 3 years and have resisted buying one for two important to me issues. The oil change would be messy and difficult to access filter and drain. Last year the heavy metal surrounding the engine was cut away to make the filter much easier to change and the drain hose extended to facilitate draining the oil. The deck was still too heavy for me. Just a few days ago I went to my local dealer to try the newly redesigned deck lift mechanism. To my surprise, I can easily lift the heavy deck. The seat will now move forward enough for me (only 5ft 6)to reach the lift lever. The tillers have more adjustability than most. I will do further testing over the next week. It is a great time to buy because of the huge discount sale thru March 24th. An important part of my decision to try Gravely is the quality of the dealer and their willingness to work with the customer.

Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 60 Zero Turn Mower:

Might have gotten 5 stars from me if they hadn't discontinued the hydraulic deck lift option, we use them constantly on my commercial properties & parking lot islands that was a handy option because we have to change cut heights 100 times a day , jumping over curbs ,ant hills ,irrigation heads etc.. ,the foot lever is simple enough but it would kill my knees by the end of the week. I`ve only just replaced the deck lift piston after 10 years of service on our 50" deck. Over all gravely is a well built beast of a machine. We just have a 50 " & a 60" that cuts our 50 acre a week job load. My first gravely was the 30" brush hog gear drive with the ape bars that thing work us over by days end but it cut anything the Florida jungle had. Only complaint about zero`s is that they spin out on slopes if your to steep so be careful. I wish they made a steel replacement idler pulley for the hydros ,that plastic one goes out every year and usually in a bad place on the job that's hard to tow out of.

Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 60 Zero Turn Mower:

Our garden tractor mower deck failed for the last time. For years I was replacing parts and welding the deck back together. The tractor is in fine shape, but the deck is trashed, I guess after 14 years of hard service I can't complain. The deck on the Pro Turn looks like it will last the rest of my life. And I hope it does. Made my first cut at total time spent cutting was about 3 hrs. Pretty sure I could have called it a day after about an hour and a half, but I went over each area several times, not because I needed to, but because it was so much fun to drive. This mower is fast, so be careful if it is your first time on a zero turn. I wasn't sure if the Kohler 23 HP motor had enough power, but I found out it does. Pro Turn 52" with 23HP Kohler. Large residential lawn use at home. Very pleased so far, will see how it holds up, built like a tank.

We don't have a wide expanse of lawn, but I do need to maintain fields of blueberries and nut trees, as well as trails. It can be rough terrain. This thing is like having a smaller bush hog, so it's perfect for everything I need to maintain and I can get into places that would be hard to do with the tractor/bush hog or too rough for a garden variety mower (of which I've got through a couple in 15 years). Sure, it cost more than most cars I've ever owned, and uses gas like one, but It is SUCH a pleasure to have something that is SO well built. It's obvious that the designers put a high degree of thought into this thing!

I can't believe the difference between the Gravely and my old Toro ss5000... Night and day! It's like going from a Pinto to a Cadillac.. The comfort, power, and performance is great. So easy to operate.
I will review it again half way through the summer after it's got some hours on it but so far I couldn't be happier.
One more thing, the Gravely is around $2000 less than other name brands with the exact same features... Hydros, deck, Ross, pully... Ect..

Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 52 Zero Turn Mower:

After much time, consideration and comparison to other mowers, I recently purchased the Pro Turn 52 and I couldn't be more satisfied. From the first trip by until the purchase the dealer couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. I had narrowed my choices down to the PT 52 and two other major competitors' mowers, which was almost equal in every aspect but price. I explained to the dealer that I would really like to compare the mowers side by side in my own yard and conditions. They were so confident in the PT 52, the next thing I knew I was on the way home with a "new" demo and trailer which also belonged to the dealer. They wanted me to put the PT 52 up against any other mower I wanted to and make the decision myself based on the performance of the Pro Turn. I cut with three mowers in the same conditions that day and the Gravely held it's own with no problems.Their confidence in the Gravely, as well as the performance and price of the PT, sold them a mower just a couple of hours later. Gravely mowers will hold their own with any of the other mowers out there and for the price they can't be touched. No regrets here!

I just bought a pro turn 52 as an upgrade from my old lawn tractor. I must say WOW what a difference. I cut my mowing time down by two thirds. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I just bought it and want to put some use, I will update review at 100 hours. I thoroughly researched other mowers before settling on the gravely pro turn, this mower offers the best bang for the buck. Originally I was torn between the ZT HD and the pro-turn and went to the dealership intending to buy the ZT HD....This was before I saw them side by side. The pro turn has a larger frame and seems more solid. The seat is extremely comfortable and you dont feel crowded, I'm 6'2 . The mower is smooth and powerful and leaves a nice cut. Gravely even sent me a cool hat! This mower is the best value out there for the money.

Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 52 Zero Turn Mower:

A retired neighbor and myself had both been mowing our 1 acre lots for many years with lightly built conventional 42" Murray and 36" MTD riding lawn mowers respectively. Both mowers were cheap and for years got the job done, but being lightly built, almost frail really, both succumbed to age and started giving us both more problems over the years requiring increasingly more frequent repairs. He and I got tired of this and discussed upgrading, and upgrading significantly. My father had purchased a top model 60" Kawasaki-powered Gravely for his 3 acre lot a few years ago and LOVES IT! In fact Mom enjoys mowing with it so much Dad rarely gets a chance to drive it, but they both spoke highly of it and had me test drive it. I was amazed by the beefiness of all the components compared to the thin gauge stamped steel parts on my old MTD mower. So my neighbor and I checked online reviews and prices and each of us were close to purchasing the top residential 52" zero turn model. We went to a local dealer who let us test drive an entry level commercial Pro Turn unit. They worked with us on price and we both ended up buying 52" Kawasaki-powered (commercial) Pro Turn units and had them delivered a few days later. The Gravely rep was knowledgeable, friendly, showed us all the operations during our test drive sessions, and not one moment did we feel hurried or pressured. I have to say the quality of build with thick gauge steel everywhere, stout, meaty components (nothing flimsy or under built ANYWHERE!), and the Gravely name were nearly enough for us to purchase the units but the sales rep. at D. W. OGG Equipment in Frederick, MD. sealed the deal. My neighbor and I couldn't be more happy with our Pro Turns. Yeah, it's a bit overkill for our 1 acre lots but we've both cut our mowing times in half and more importantly these are going to provide us both with many years of trouble-free service. No more welding stress cracks on flimsy stamped steel parts or REPEATEDLY replacing under built parts. Thank you Gravely for making a rock solid product and for your knowledgeable, helpful, no-pressure, no bs, sales reps. My neighbor and I enjoy keeping our places looking nice. Our Gravely's are the right tool for the job, and their power and speed is more than up to the task. Our lots are across the street from each other and are two houses from the entrance to our neighborhood so everyone that comes and goes sees one or both of our bright orange Gravely's at work frequently during the mowing season. Zero regrets from either of us! I just bought a set of headlights for mine for late evening mowing. And during the installation I found a connector on the existing harness ready and waiting which helped make the installation easy. I plugged in the lights harness, routed the wires, and with a couple bolts and a few zip ties later I had headlights at the flip of a toggle switch. The toggle switch was ALSO thought out. All I had to do was cut the plastic on the existing control panel and install the toggle switch. Just more evidence that someone thought this out. We're both impressed and very happy with our Gravelys! Nice job guys!

Comments about Gravely Pro-Turn 52 Zero Turn Mower:

Great machine. Cuts well, great on gas and comfortable. Only two draw backs are the chute grass deflector mounts on top of the deck. The nut vibrates loose and I have lost the nut so I can't mount the chute. Also it should have a 2nd gas tank like the old 152z. Great machine, great product and very reliable. I would recommend to anybody.

Replaced my exmark 2 years ago which I had few complaints but after 2 years of my Gravely I'm convinced I made the right choice. Mows good and easily serviced .

I just purchased a Pro Turn Gravely. I've only mowed one time with it thus far but the difference between the Gravely and the piece of junk Cub Cadet RZT I had is astounding. After having the Cub fail numerous times in the short time I've owned it, I was much more cautious this time around purchasing a mower. The engineering quality is only surpassed by the quality of workmanship that goes into building these mowers. I studied and looked at the one I purchased for over an hour trying to find a flaw in assembly, paint, anything, and could find nothing. Two close friends purchased Gravely HD's last year and they have nothing but praise for them. Both of these individuals are extremely particular and hard to please when it comes to their outdoor equipment, how it works, and how well it performs. I'm looking forward to reporting how well the Pro Turn performs in the future! It mowed even, clean, and extremely fast, far superior to the Cub model I had before.

With my last tractor mower it took me nearly all day long to mow my 3 acres, now with the gravely it is done effortlessly in less than three hours. Kudos to gravely and their mowers.
